The Turing Test, proposed by Alan Turing in 1950, is a measure of a machine’s ability to exhibit intelligent behavior indistinguishable from that of a human. In this test, a human judge interacts with a machine and a human without knowing which is which, and if the judge cannot reliably tell them apart, the machine is considered to have passed the test.
