The Turing Test, proposed by Alan Turing in 1950, is a measure of a machine’s ability to exhibit intelligent behavior indistinguishable from that of a human. Turing suggested that if a human evaluator is unable to consistently tell the machine apart from a human based on their responses, the machine could be considered ‘intelligent.’
